Monologue Kerja.

Monologue, 1
To be honest, I don't really understand kenapa ramai yang tidak boleh terima kenyataan yang aku tiada "hidden agendas" bila aku membantu, ataupun sedang menyelesaikan sesuatu masalah berkenaan operasi. Semua yang aku lakukan will be focused towards finding the best solution for that seseorang or to that given issues/problems. Honestly, I just want to help and I don't have time for "conspiracy-theories."

Monologue, 2
Aku tak faham mengapa orang selalu guna alasan "Aku tak mahu buat kerja ini sebab ia tiada dalam job description aku." Those reporting to me should know that if you ever use this sentence to me, aku akan automatically label you as "pemalas."

I'm sorry if this is harsh, but aku sendiri tak pernah buat macam ini pada boss aku. Apa yang dia suruh aku buat, aku akan buat. I might bitch about it, but the important thing is that I will do it. Personally, aku rasa boss mesti ada sebab-sebab yang tertentu bila dia decide hendak bagi aku apa-apa assignment. If you're smart, you will just do it sebab bosses suka orang yang tak berkira - hence the reason why some people get above 80% for their appraisal marks. Logic dictates emotions.

Monologue, 3
Aku kurang senang dengan orang-orang yang hanya pandai merungut dan membidas idea-idea pihak pengurusan. Aku tak kisah kalau rungutan-rungutan ini dibuat dengan disertakan suggestions. As a basic rule, bila you present an issue to your bosses, please make sure you also come up with the recommendations on how to solve it. Don't just come to us and tell us your problems, blindly. Bosses are human and we don't have all the answers to your questions. Lebih bijak kalau you recommend the solution and we further discuss the issue from there, kan?

Aku tak kisah kena marah dengan boss besar (GM). These past few months, after working rather close with the GM, I have learn a few things about his style of management. They are:

1) Never go and meet him with half-prepared answered and half-baked ideas or you will get killed;
2) Do not openly question his logic. He is the boss and sometimes he knows things that we don't, and;
3) Do not give him any answers that you are not sure off. If you're not confident with your answers or explanations, just say "I don't know but I'll get back to you on this," or just shut-up.

Kadang-kadang, it is easier not to be wise. You do not need to be a rockstar to show him that you're smart. Respect him, no matter what he says or does to you.

Monologue, 5
Aku tak suka orang yang buat kerja "sekadar melepas batuk di-tangga." If you are given a responsibility to do a job or a task, I expect you to to that job better than me. It is a waste of time for me to check and review all your work for errors. Kalau nak buat, better buat betul-betul so that you don't waste my time.

Monologue, 6
Bila sudah banyak peluang aku bagi untuk seseorang itu berubah dan orang itu ambil sikap sambil lewa, my respect towards that person will be gone. One thing that people have to know about me is that aku jarang tak respect orang, tapi bila aku betul-betul hilang respect kepada seseorang itu, aku akan anggap orang itu tidak wujud. I will not tegur, and jauh sekali bercakap dengan orang itu. Usually, susah untuk aku terima semula orang itu kerana, respect is earn and you won't get it by default.

Bila didalam situasi begini, I don't really care much about what he or she thinks about me. I know apa yang aku telah buat is the right thing to do in the situation. Aku tak rasa bersalah sebab niat dan nawaitu aku pada mulanya memang hendak membantu, with no hidden agenda.
